• Helps support mood and neural function
• Helps support joint comfort and mobility

Additional Information

Supports joint health and mobility
SAMe’s ‘active sulphur’ group supports collagen and proteoglycan production, essential components of connective tissue. These nutrients surround the joint and serve to act as a cushion in the cartilage enhancing mobility and movement and promoting joint comfort.

Supports mood and cognitive health
SAMe is essential for the metabolism of major brain neurotransmitters, such as dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine. SAMe may also upregulate the production of phosphatidylcholine, supporting cognitive function.

Supports liver and intestines
The liver makes most of the body’s SAMe and relies on SAMe for its structural and functional integrity. SAMe enhances liver synthesis of glutathione an important antioxidant. The liver’s SAMe reserves are depleted by alcohol and toxins. Studies show SAMe may protect liver injury caused by a number of toxins.

Support for energy production
SAMe is required by the mitochondria, in the cells, to produce CoQ10, alpha lipoic acid and other nutrients crucial for energy production.
